City of San Diego

Commercial security in San Diego

Camera, access control and monitored coverage for commercial premises across the City of San Diego, from one licensed contractor. We publish district pages as we build them, with real data — not a find-and-replace of the district name.

Districts

Districts we have published so far

San Diego is a large, district-by-district city. We add a district page when we have something specific to say about it — real local data and the building stock we actually survey there. We do not clone one page across every neighbourhood.

Not yet published: the remaining districts recorded for this city (Miramar, Otay Mesa, East Village, Barrio Logan) get their own page only once there is district-specific material worth writing about.

Permitting

The alarm permit is a City of San Diego requirement

Any monitored alarm system inside the City of San Diego needs a permit from the San Diego Police Department. SDPD alarm permit, Form 1067. Required before an alarm system is monitored; renewed annually. We raise this during the survey, not after commissioning, because it is the detail that most often gets missed on a new install.

For the full commercial burglary dataset behind our district pages — citywide totals, the neighbourhood table and the caveats that go with it — see our San Diego commercial burglary statistics guide. For coverage across the rest of San Diego County, see our service area.

Start with a site survey

We walk the building, put the findings in writing, and scope the work against what we actually find. No obligation, and no quote written from a floor plan.
