Commercial security integration · San Diego County
San Diego’s commercial security company for cameras, access control and alarms
We are a security systems company: we design, install, service and monitor camera, access control and alarm systems for San Diego businesses, from a single warehouse to a multi-site portfolio. Operating since 2008, working commercial only.

Commercial vs. residential
Commercial security camera installation is not a bigger house system
Commercial premises only: offices, warehouses, industrial, medical, retail, government and defence-adjacent sites, multi-family common areas and licensed facilities. That is a deliberate limit, not a capacity problem.
Commercial sites carry retention requirements, procurement rules and multi-user access needs that residential work does not, and the two need different equipment and different documentation.
How we design coverage
How it runs
Every business security camera system starts with a site survey
Every job starts with an on-site survey of the actual building, offered as a free consultation. We will not quote a camera system off a count over the phone, because the count is the least useful number about a system.
A survey covers five things: risk and requirement, positions and purpose, site conditions, existing equipment, and procurement constraints, including NDAA §889 where it applies.

Who we are
Why licence class matters when you hire a commercial security integrator
San Diego CCTV Pros is a DBA of Guardian Integrated Security, Inc. The licences are held by Guardian and appear that way on the state record, which is why a contractor whose trading name and licence name do not obviously connect is difficult to verify.
The work sits under two licences: CSLB C-7 Low Voltage Systems, covering camera installation, structured cabling and intercom work, and BSIS Alarm Company Operator #7501, covering monitored CCTV and access control as well as intrusion alarm work. Both are checkable directly with the issuing agency.
What our licences cover
Who we work with
Every vertical fails differently
A dispensary has a state retention requirement. A dealership has inventory parked outside overnight. A federal contractor cannot use banned hardware. The coverage plan follows from that, not from a package tier.

Where we stop
What we decline on a commercial security job in San Diego, and why
Four refusals, and none of them are negotiable per job: no fire alarm work, no residential, no guard services under this brand, and no cameras in private spaces, on any site, for any reason.
Saying no on those four is what keeps the rest of the page credible. Where a system is specified to us that crosses one of those lines, we say no and explain why instead of quietly leaving it out of the drawing.

Common questions
Questions we get before a survey
Yes. We install and service commercial systems: warehouses, dealerships, dispensaries, construction sites, retail, multi-tenant offices and apartment communities. We do not take residential work.
RelatedOur services
Yes. CSLB #976737, issued 2012-09-15. You can verify it directly with the California Contractors State License Board at cslb.ca.gov. Alarm installation additionally requires an ACO licence, which is separate from the C-7 low voltage classification.
RelatedOur services
Yes. A large share of our service work is on systems installed by someone else. We will tell you honestly whether the existing equipment is worth repairing or whether replacement costs less over the life of the system.
RelatedOur services
Almost certainly, and which agency issues it depends on your city. The City of San Diego issues its own permit through the Police Department, renewed annually. Cities with their own police departments, including El Cajon and Escondido, set their own rules. Cities policed by the San Diego County Sheriff under contract, including Encinitas, Poway, San Marcos, Santee and Vista, vary in how permits are handled. We confirm which authority and which rules apply to your address before your system goes on monitoring, and we handle the paperwork as part of an alarm installation.
RelatedOur services
It depends on camera count, cable runs and whether the building has existing conduit. We quote from a site survey, not a phone estimate, because the cabling, not the cameras, is usually what moves the number.
