Commercial security services

Commercial security services in San Diego

Design, installation, maintenance and monitoring of commercial security systems across San Diego County — cameras, access control, alarms and remote monitoring, from one licensed contractor. We work on commercial premises only, and we service systems we did not install.

How we work

Licensed, commercial, and straight about scope

San Diego CCTV Pros holds CSLB #976737 — a C-7 low voltage contractor's licence — and BSIS ACO #7501, an Alarm Company Operator licence. Between them they cover every service listed on this page: the C-7 for anything installed or cabled, the ACO for anything monitored or controlling a door.

One service you will not find in the list is fire alarm. That needs a C-10 or a C-16, we hold neither, and we would rather say so on the hub than have you find out at survey.

We work on commercial premises — offices, warehouses, dealerships, multifamily property, medical and government facilities — and not on private residences. That is a deliberate limit: commercial sites bring retention requirements, procurement rules and integration constraints that residential work does not, and the two need different equipment and different documentation.

One question sits underneath several of these and is not a service in its own right: whether monitored cameras can do the job a guard is currently being paid for. That is answered separately, with our own interest declared, on virtual guarding versus traditional guards.

The company behind those licences, and what we will and will not take on, is on about San Diego CCTV Pros.

  • A site survey before any quote — never a camera count over the phone.
  • Written findings, whether or not you go on to contract with us.
  • Systems we did not install are serviced on their own merits, not used as a lever for a rip-and-replace.
  • NDAA §889 compliant equipment available where procurement policy requires it.

Not heldNo C-10 · No C-16
Electrical and fire protectionWe do not hold a C-10 or C-16, so we do not work on fire alarm systems; that is coordinated with your own licensed fire alarm contractor. We list this beside the licences rather than leaving you to discover it.

San Diego CCTV Pros is a DBA of Guardian Integrated Security, Inc. The licences are held by Guardian and appear that way on the state records, so that is the name you will find when you look them up. Commercial premises only, and not private residences. Working since 2008.
