Credentials
Who you are dealing with
San Diego CCTV Pros has been working on commercial premises since 2008. Every licence below is verifiable with its issuing agency, and we would rather you check than take our word for it.
- CSLB #976737 — CSLB C-7 Low Voltage Systems contractor's licence, covering camera, cabling, intercom and low voltage installation.
- BSIS ACO #7501 — Alarm Company Operator licence, covering monitored CCTV, alarm and access-control work.
- PPO #121089 — BSIS Private Patrol Operator licence, held through Guardian Integrated Security, Inc., of which we are a DBA.
We do not hold a C-10 or C-16, so we do not work on fire alarm systems — that is coordinated with your own licensed fire alarm contractor. We work on commercial premises only and not on private residences.
Who holds those licences, how the DBA relationship with Guardian Integrated Security works and what we have and have not done is set out on about San Diego CCTV Pros. What we do with the details you send through this form is covered by our privacy policy.
What happens next
What to expect, and what helps us quote
Every job starts with a survey of the actual building. We do not quote off a camera or door count over the phone, because the count is the least useful number about a system — pathway, distance and what each position has to achieve are what decide the work.
You get the findings in writing, and a coverage plan where one applies, whether or not you go on to contract with us. If any of this is useful to have ready when you call, it speeds things up considerably:
- The site. Address, building type, and roughly how large — square footage or floors is fine.
- How many buildings. One site or several, and whether they are on one campus or spread across the county.
- What is already installed. Any existing cameras, alarm, access control or cabling, and roughly how old — including systems installed by somebody else, which is most of what we take over.
- What you need it to do. The actual problem instead of a product: an area you cannot see, footage nobody can retrieve, keys you cannot revoke, an insurer or licence requirement.
- Timeline and constraints. Whether the building is occupied, whether work has to happen out of hours, and any procurement rules that apply — NDAA §889, for instance.
If you do not have all of that, call anyway. Working out what a site needs is part of the survey.
Service area
Where we work
San Diego County, North County and the Temecula–Murrieta corridor, from the Kearny Mesa office. Larger projects are taken statewide in California; day-to-day service work stays local, because a maintenance contract is only worth having if somebody can actually get to the site. See the full breakdown by city on our service area.
Not sure what you need?
Start with the service
Each of these explains what the work involves and what a survey covers. Or see all commercial security and low voltage services.
Access Control Systems
Card, fob and mobile credential systems — readers, controllers, electric locking hardware, and integration with the camera system.
Biometric Access Control
Fingerprint, facial and palm credentials for the commercial openings where a credential must not be transferable — server rooms, cash handling, controlled inventory and pedestrian gates. Installed under ACO #7501, with the template storage and retention questions settled at design.
CCTV Maintenance & Repair
Scheduled preventive maintenance contracts and on-call repair for commercial camera systems — including systems we did not install. Camera replacement, cabling faults, NVR and storage failures, firmware and retention audits.
Commercial Alarm Monitoring
Central-station monitoring for commercial intrusion alarms — panels, contacts, motion and glassbreak detection, video verification against the camera system, and takeover of an existing panel. Intrusion only.
Gate Access Control Systems
Access control at the vehicle gate and the perimeter — readers, keypads, mobile credentials, transmitters, telephone entry and loop and safety-device integration, wired and commissioned under C-7 and ACO. The gate operator itself is your gate contractor's; we coordinate with them.
Video Intercom & Door Entry Systems
Video door entry for commercial buildings — entry stations, directory calling for multi-tenant sites, door release wired to the locking hardware, and retrofits onto existing analog risers. Installed under C-7 low voltage.
Licence Plate Recognition
Plate-reading camera positions for commercial gates, yards and lots — designed as their own position with their own lens, angle and lighting, and confirmed at survey. We do not sell plate capture as a feature with a specification attached.
Mobile Surveillance Units
Self-contained camera units we own and deploy to sites with no permanent power, no network and no reason to justify a fixed install — construction, vacant property, temporary yards and events. Repositioned as the site changes, and watched live rather than only recorded.
Panic & Duress Buttons
Fixed and mobile duress devices for commercial premises — silent hold-up alarms at counters and reception, wearable and app-based buttons for staff who move, wired into monitored alarm response and paired with camera verification. Installed and monitored under ACO #7501.
Remote Video Monitoring
Off-site operators watching commercial camera feeds live rather than reviewing them after the fact — event-driven response, audio talk-down, verified escalation to police, and after-hours cover for sites nobody is standing on. Runs on the cameras you already have.
Commercial Security Camera Installation
Design, installation and commissioning of commercial IP camera systems — site survey, coverage plan, cabling, NVR configuration and handover.
Structured Cabling
Cat6, Cat6a and fiber cabling for commercial buildings — MDF and IDF build-outs, racks and pathways, labeling to standard, and certified testing on every link. The infrastructure the camera, access and alarm systems run on.
Video Analytics
Detection running on the cameras and recorders you already have — person and vehicle classification, line crossing, intrusion zones, loitering, people counting and heat mapping. What makes a monitored system event-driven instead of a wall of screens nobody watches.
